  1. Teenie
Teenie is my favorite because she is a strong, and powerful woman. She is very kind and caring person. Even though she got Tidbit taken away, she still obeyed her master and did her duties

  2. My favorite character is Tidbit because he is so innocent and too young to be going through this. He has no idea why they are running or where they are going and all he wants is his mother. When he finds Hushpuppy, he forgets what is happening to him for a while.

  3. I my favorite is Tidbit because he is a little kid who runs around and causes mischief. I also like Tidbit because he helps Teenie in the kitchen sometimes. Another reason I like Tidbit is because he has the only dog on the plantation, Hushpuppy. The final reason I like Tidbit is because I fell bad fr him Because he is going to grow up and be forced to work in the rice fields.

  6. My favorite cahracter is Tidbit in Copper Sun because he makes everyone happy. When Polly was upset Tibit cheered her up. He also made Amari feel better. He has made Polly and Amari laugh a lot throughout the story. He is a really smart little boy and takes really good care of his dog hushpuppy. He is very innocent and I hope he becomes free one day.

  11. Tidbit is my favorite character because he is so awnry and happy-go-lucky. He just makes every situation in the story lighter and happier. He's also really young so it brings a different sentimental element into the book.

  12. My favorite character is Tidbit. He is still a little boy, and even though he is a slave, he still manages to make people laugh. Tidbit loves his mom Teenie, and his dog Hushpuppy. When he goes on his journey with Polly and Amari to Fort Mose in the south, in Spanish territory. He is a very brave little boy, sure he complained a little, but he still pushed on and traveled all the way with Polly and Amari, at the best of his ability. And all of that pays off when they finally reach Fort Mose to freedom, and Amari takes on the role of being his mom, since Teenie is still at the Derby Plantation.

  13. Amari: this all started with friendly strangers.

My favorite character in the book is Tidbit because he adds humor into the book, his chores, and with his dog running around everywhere. The funniest part foe me was when he climbed up a huge tree and started throwing fruit at Amari and Polly.

  14. Teenie is my favorite character because she's so passionate and lively. No matter what, she tries to make the best of things. She cares so much about Tidbit and always wants the best for him, even if that means giving him up so he can have freedom. She helps Amari and Polly a lot and is so self-less. She always hopes for the best.

  20. My favorite character is Tibit. He is a little slave boy but is incredibly funny. He makes everyone laugh and brightens up everyone's day. When anyone is having a bad day he is able to make it better. He is also very brave. When he, Amari, and Polly have to go from his mother he is very brave and goes with Amari and Polly.

He I liked Tidbit because he made the book more enjoyable with his personality. He is an all around loving little boy and made me laugh a lot throughout the book.
